Jungle green Guatemalan jadeite and brass. We didn't have Cleopatra in mind when we designed this one but once we finished it, we thought maybe she'd have worn it. This also looks great strung on a long beefy chain. 

We love wearing brass jewelry, as the metal develops a unique patina over time, reflecting the amount of wear (and care) the piece has received. Brass is an alloy that contains copper which can react with the PH levels in skin, body sweat, and moisture, occasionally turning skin green. This is harmless and does not last. Brass is able to withstand a lot of wear and tear, and we think it's under-appreciated as a yellow metal for Jewelry.
